| Emilio Payes |
|
| Emilio Payes was born in Alicante,Spain in 1936.He showed
early artistic promise and was accepted at the Alicante Acedemy, where he
studied,improving upon his natural talents with expert and sympathetic
tuition.Early success with his exhibitions brought wider acclaim and financial
stability, which allowed him to travel in search of fresh subject matter.Paris
became a favourite city,and today he spends a considerable time there,for he
has earned a reputation for his portrayals of life on the boulevards, through
the changing seasons.He also spends time painting the architectural splendour
of Venice,which has also prooved highly successful. |
