| John Donaldson |
|
| John Donaldson was born in Lewes,Sussex in 1945,and received
his initial artistic training from his grandfather,who was an accomplished
painter who was part of the early British Impressionist movement.John has been
a professional artist all his adult life.He has held exhibitions all over the
world....renowned for his romantic portrayals of city life in Paris and
London,and also for his sun-filled landscapes of Southern France....nothing is
sentimentalised in his paintings,for there is both hard work and tranquillity
in his portrayals.John has featured in Royles 'Artists Britain' calender on
several occasions,and is represented at galleries in Toronto,Los
Angeles,Seattle,Florida, Melbourne and London. |
