| Juan Lluna |
|
| was born into an artistic family where he was encouraged to
take painting seriously from the age of six.He first received tuition from his
father and when he was old enough he enrolled at the Valencia School of
Art.Here he was awarded many prizes for his work and high achievement,and went
on to win the Gold Medal in Seville in 1974.Further honours and distinctions
followed when he began to exhibit in Madrid and Valencia.Today he is one of
Spains leading artists,noted for his fine and individual plein air
technique.The Diputacio Provincial Museum in Barcelona have examples of his
work,as well as other substancial collections throughout Europe and The USA.
